Sleeve stripes and numbers on black jersey matched to colors on Doug Atkins #81 jersey (small difference between numbers and sleeve stripes in color for both jerseys).
Thin sleeve stripes on black jerseys matched to those in second 10/5/69 @LA photo of Saints #28 Don Shy.
With the removal of the 'greenish-gold' helmet stripe and fleur on black preseason helmet remade with same gold as regular helmet.
Socks redesigned; stripes are actually on white sannies. size and color matched to those in 10/5/69 @LA photo; same sannies/socks used through 1974.
