2004-2019 Indianapolis Colts

Colts helmet logo changed to a slightly darker, less-brilliant shade of royal blue and continued to be the open-topped version of the horseshoe.
The Colts' 2004 Thanksgiving throwback featured upturned tips on the rear-facing horseshoes.
The 2010 throwback helmet also featured upturned tips on the rear-facing horseshoes.

Colts' helmet logo became royal blue version of the open-top horseshoe during the duration of the blue facemask era.

1990-94 Indianapolis Colts

Colts' helmet logo changed to the wider-opening version and became darker, almost to navy. Additionally, previously going un-noticed, the Colts' 1994 throwbacks featured a helmet logo with upturned tips.

1957-80 Baltimore Colts

Colts used a thin version of horseshoe logo of large size. Within individual photos you will see Colts with different spacing at the top of the horseshoes, as seen in this 1958 photo showing Johnny Unitas (#19) and Alan Ameche (#35).

1956 Baltimore Colts
