Helmet stripes altered so middle white is wider than outer blues
Helmet logo and stripes are darker than blue of jersey
Torso numbers narrowed significantly and moved farther apart
Chest numbers moved closer to neck
Nameplate moved closer to neck
Outer grey and blue stripes on socks made same width 1967-77

I don't think that it effects the update, but the picture against the Vikings is from 1973, notice no black arm band on the Lions and the plain sleeves for Minnesota not used in the 1974 regular season.
