1939 Chicago Bears
During the September 15, 1939, night game with the Cleveland Rams, the Bears began the game wearing their orange jerseys. Reports state that the temperature during the game exceeded 90 degrees. Apparently, during halftime, the Bears change to their dry, plain white jerseys for the second half.
