Additional photos from the 10/9/38 game hosting Detroit show that Green Bay started the game in their myrtle-green jerseys with yellow shoulders. However, later in the game when they scored their only touchdown, the player is wearing their plain green jerseys with no yellow shoulders visible. No mention of a change is referenced in any articles, however, the photographic evidence is convincing especially with Don Hutson (#14 at the far left of the 1st photo) still wearing his 2-stripe socks but with a plain, one-color jersey.
